Destruction Series

Initially not intended for public display, these efforts have garnered much attention and are described as “gorgeous and flawed”. This new technique is currently a new direction being explored to create a series of Destruction pieces. Born of humility - during the production of a particular
work, unforeseen complications arose with the materials. Not aligning with
the intended vision, the results were a genesis of an entirely new technique of depositing precious metals like gold and silver into work.
This 5’ x 5’ work serves as a personal reminder of imperfection and its importance within one’s own life as well as the world at large. The relatable struggle of trial and error has led to a beautiful compromise between vision, expectation, and reality.
