The Carambola High (left on image) is designed to hold the taper candle style Twig. x. The Carambola is a new wax sculpture shaped by hand without any tools. Carambola is a very labour intensive style. It takes several hours to finish. Shaped and shifted – Sculptured – beeswax candles handcrafted into unexpected objects, slowly changing form as they melt.
Care Instructions
Please note: This handcrafted wax object should never
be placed on warm surfaces. When using it with burning candles please never let the candles burn down completely and never leave this object unattended. Liquid wax from leaking candles can be easily removed from the object’s surface once it has cooled down.
Materials
The candles are 80 per cent beeswax, 20 per cent paraffin, and are handmade in the Black Forest exclusively for Oberflacht. Please note that irregularities in shape, colour, size and weight and a grey tinge are typical characteristics of handcrafting beeswax.
