Barrie Windows Landscape Cardigan

This cashmere cardigan is an ode to the Scottish landscape as seen through the windows of St Andrews Cathedral. Crafted using intarsia, it evokes an imaginary ascent through the building, where a new fragment of nature is revealed at each level.

From the first floor, we see roses, trees and grass; on the second floor, the sea and the discreet silhouette of a Scottish castle appear; and finally, only the sky and clouds are visible. This panorama comes to life through a series of coloured windows, like frames opening onto the outside world.
