The natural leather is tumbled to lighten the hide's density, then embossed with a small-grain design for uniform texture. Over time and with exposure to light, this leather will gradually form a natural patina and become darker. Due to the absorbent nature of this leather, extra care should be taken to avoid any scratching or contact with liquids.
