Oulan Bator Scented Candle

An escape into the wild Mongolian steppe. The Oulan Bator Candle blends soft, weathered leather with tobacco, incense, ambergris, and earthy angelica root — a scent that feels rugged, smoky, and quietly mesmerizing. It’s the atmosphere of open desert, distant fires, and vast untouched silence, distilled into a warm, enveloping fragrance.

Poured in Astier de Villatte’s signature plant-based wax with a touch of beeswax, the candle burns cleanly and diffuses its scent with beautiful depth. A pure cotton wick ensures a long, even burn. Each candle is presented in a hand-blown Tuscan glass vessel — subtly grey, delicately bubbled, and entirely unique — with labels printed on vintage lead presses to honor the maison’s artisanal tradition.
