Astier de Villatte Porte de Lilas Scented Candle

A soft Parisian reverie. The Porte de Lilas Candle captures the charm of a quiet neighborhood in spring — lilacs spilling over garden fences, rose and jasmine drifting through the air, and the gentle freshness of bergamot at first breath. Ylang-ylang, heliotrope, and musk lend a warm, nostalgic glow, evoking a stroll through Old Paris touched with romance. Designed with perfumer Alexandra Monet.

Crafted from Astier de Villatte’s signature plant-based wax with a hint of beeswax, the candle burns cleanly and diffuses its fragrance beautifully, both hot and cold. A pure cotton wick ensures an even, trace-free burn. Each candle is poured into a hand-blown Tuscan glass tumbler, subtly grey with delicate bubbles — a vessel as timeless as the scent itself. Labels and packaging are produced on vintage lead presses, preserving the maison’s artisanal heritage.
