A quiet breath inside an old wooden house in Aoyama. The Aoyama Candle captures the serene elegance of damp wood, soft incense, and freshly laundered linen — the signature atmosphere remembered by Sonya Park. Chic patchouli evokes aged timber; smoked woods of gaïac and vetiver add depth; clove and a gentle moss accord bring a cool, meditative freshness. The result is a fragrance that feels calm, intimate, and beautifully understated.

Hand-poured in Astier de Villatte’s signature plant-based wax with a touch of beeswax, the candle burns cleanly and releases its scent with subtle clarity. A pure cotton wick ensures a long, even burn. Each candle sits in a hand-blown Tuscan glass vessel — softly grey, delicately bubbled, and entirely unique — with labels produced on vintage lead presses, honoring the maison’s artisanal tradition.
