Founded in 2016 by the couple Gisela and Gustavo Assis, Lapima is an independent Brazilian eyewear brand focused on the luxury sector. 

The atelier in Campinas, São Paulo, produces 100% one-of-a-kind glasses developed by the creative team headed by Gustavo, and inspired by natural and human landscapes – the exuberance of the different Brazilian biomes gives rise to the color charts; the country´s architecture and visual arts prompt the angular, mathematical shapes; and the ever-present, happy-go-lucky culture of the Brazilian people is associated with the generous dimensions of the acetate used to construct the frames.
