Astier de Villatte Delhi Scented Candle

A spicy, hypnotic descent into Old Delhi. The Delhi Candle evokes the city’s dense, winding lanes — buildings stacked in sun-baked layers, market stalls glowing in the heat, and fragrant smoke rising into the air. Betel, benzoin, musk, and myrrh mingle with smoked woods, soft vanilla, and the herbal spark of eucalyptus beedies, creating a scent that feels rich, atmospheric, and endlessly transportive. It’s India’s vibrant heart, distilled into a warm, resinous glow.

Hand-poured in Astier de Villatte’s signature plant-based wax with a touch of beeswax, the candle burns cleanly and diffuses beautifully, both hot and cold. A pure cotton wick ensures a long, even burn. Each candle rests in a hand-blown Tuscan glass vessel — subtly grey, delicately bubbled, and entirely unique — with labels printed on vintage lead presses, honoring the maison’s devotion to artisanal craft.
